Bonding procedures for indirect restorations are among the most technique-sensitive steps in restorative dentistry, and often they are the key difference between predictable longevity and early failure. From ceramic veneers and onlays to full-coverage restorations and post-endodontic build-ups, understanding substrate management, adhesive selection, and proper material handling is critical for long-term success. This CE webinar will break down bonding protocols into clear, practical steps that can be immediately implemented in daily practice. With a special focus on adhesive practices and material selection, this course will explore decision-making for enamel vs. dentin bonding, selective etch protocols, dual-cure compatibility, post cementation considerations, and predictable core build-up techniques. Attendees will gain confidence in simplifying their armamentarium while elevating clinical outcomes through a consistent, evidence-based bonding workflow.

Current evidence shows that caries management is best done using an individualized risk assessment where detailed information about the specific risk factors of each patient can be used to establish the risk of developing future caries, and to create an effective treatment plan. This CE webinar will provide tips on implementing caries risk assessment protocols and offer evidence-based treatment options for your patients. Communication skills to help increase treatment acceptance will also be discussed.

Attachments play a critical role in aligner biomechanics, yet the method used to create and deliver attachments can significantly influence clinical efficiency, predictability, and esthetic outcomes. This CE webinar explores the differences between traditional attachment creation methods and custom attachment systems delivered via pre-fabricated trays. Participants will examine common challenges associated with conventional attachment workflows—such as technique sensitivity, variability in attachment shape, excess composite cleanup, and inconsistent engagement—and compare them with newer custom approaches designed to improve consistency and streamline clinical procedures. Practical considerations related to treatment planning, attachment placement, and bonding best practices will be discussed to help clinicians make informed decisions when selecting an attachment strategy for aligner therapy.
Featured On-Demand CE Webinars
This CE webinar is designed to empower dental professionals to raise their standards of care by emphasizing preventative dentistry. Discover effective patient and inter-office communication and a mindset shift from traditional to modern models. Explore innovative strategies, evidence-based practices, and advanced techniques to provide a higher level of patient-centered care through an understanding of the 5 Pillars of Prevention. Gain comprehensive knowledge to elevate their role in promoting lasting oral health and enhance the patient experience.
Dental utility rooms play a vital role in maintaining infection control standards. The air compressor generates air for handpieces in dental procedures, while the dental unit provides water for general dental procedures. Meanwhile, the high-volume evacuation and central vacuum removes water, aerosols, airborne pathogens and particulates from the operatory field, and aerosols from the operatory. This CE webinar will address the “heart and lungs” of the dental clinic (compressor and vacuum) and how to best ensure that clean hygienic air and clean water is delivered and effectively removed during dental care.
Modern dentistry is drowning in material options - flowables, bulk-fills, esthetics-first composites, universal systems, and more. For many practices, this leads to bloated inventories, training difficulties, and inconsistent outcomes across providers. In this fast-paced, practical CE webinar, we’ll explore how to cut through the noise, simplify your restorative system, and deliver efficient, predictable results using one streamlined material protocol. You’ll also be introduced to a next-generation composite platform designed to cover the full range of anterior and posterior restorations using just five cluster shades and 4mm increments, without compromising esthetics, handling, or long-term durability. Whether you’re leading a DSO or running a solo practice, this webinar will help you reduce complexity, improve efficiency, and standardize care.

Today, we’re tackling a question every restorative dentist has asked at some point: can one composite really do it all? For decades, we’ve accepted tradeoffs—great polish but limited strength, strong posterior composites with compromised esthetics. But composite technology has come a long way. According to our guest, Dr Susan McMahon, we’ve reached a point where a single universal composite can handle virtually every direct restorative case—and on top of that deliver stellar results. So if you’re looking to simplify your restorative workflow without compromising outcomes, this is an episode you won’t want to miss.

Most of us have started using zirconia as a material for our indirect restorations. We either mill it chairside or send it out to the lab to be fabricated. Either way we need to make sure that our technique is perfect when delivering it to the tooth, especially if we are working with a non-retentive prep. If we need to rely on adhesion, we have to understand the nuances of bonding zirconia to tooth structure. To tell us all about it is our guest Dr. Alex Vasserman. Dr Vasserman is a respected clinician running his own practice on the Upper East side of Manhattan.

According to Dr. Brian Novy, the application of fluoride varnish is, hands down, the most significant procedure we can do for our patients. But as with any procedure, there’s a right way—and a wrong way—to apply fluoride varnish. Dr. Novy will shed light on common mistakes that can undermine its effectiveness, a phenomenon he calls the "fluoride bomb." We’ll discuss what can go wrong during application, how to avoid these pitfalls, and what steps you can take to ensure your patients receive the full benefits of this essential preventive treatment. Dr. Brian Novy is a practicing dentist in Boston MA. He is President of the National CAMBRA Coalition, faculty at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Western University of Health Sciences, and consumer representative for the US Food and Drug Administration Dental Products Panel.
